My name is Laura Smith. I am a recent graduate of Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA majoring in Creative Writing. I have previous journalism, editing, and advertising experience with various school publications including editing, organizing, and contributing to Carlow's student-run newspaper, The Purple Menace and co-editing the school's literary journal, The Critical Point. I have also freelanced as a news blogger for the Blogger News Network during the summer of 2007 as well as worked as as a reviewer for the literary site Tales of Our Time in August 2006. Today I am working for a long term care brokerage company in Bridgeville, PA.
